I had a wonderful stay at this family-operated hotel. The owners were always present and made me feel welcome. The food at the restaurant was a delicious blend of German classics and Croatian dishes. The hotel's location in the middle of a charming village was convenient, with a short 13-minute train ride to the center of Cologne or Düsseldorf. Additionally, the hotel provided free parking and internet access, and the mattress in my room was comfortable. The breakfast included fresh baked rolls and was a great start to the day.
Can't fault anything about it.

The hotel is conveniently located, just a short 13-minute train ride to the very center of Cologne. the owners are always present and provide a warm, family-operated atmosphere. the food served in the restaurant is a delightful mix of German classical cuisine and Croatian grills and cooked foods.
The hotel lacks an elevator, which may pose difficulties for those with mobility issues.

the comfortable beds and the availability of breakfast that was always served fresh were the best aspects of the hotel. the location was perfect, as it was situated close to various convenience stores and train stations, making it easy to commute around the area. the high-speed internet was a huge advantage as I was able to stay connected and work remotely.
The hotel can be quite noisy due to the road directly outside and it would have been great if the room had more soundproofing. the elevator was not available, and I had to walk up the flights of stairs, which might be difficult for people with mobility issues.

The location of the hotel was convenient as it was close to a train station and supermarket. , the free internet access was a plus.
The room was poorly equipped and overpriced. The quality of breakfast was bad and overpriced.
